IBA Champion Bobby
Gunn ‘Hits” Nashville
Nashville, TN (APR 4) On the heels of his upcoming WBO
Cruiserweight Title fight in Cardiff, Wales, IBA
Cruiserweight World Champion Bobby Gunn recently paid a
visit to Nashville, Tennessee. Having fought four of his
last five fights in Middle Tennessee, Bobby Gunn has
developed a rather extended fan base here and it was
quite obvious by the amount of fan support and
excitement the Champ generated wherever he went. While
he was in town on official business for a meeting with
Team Gunn’s physician Dr. David Florence, he did take
time out of his busy schedule to visit with members of
the Nashville Fire Department Engine #33 and with
members of the staff at United Regional Medical Center
in Manchester, TN.

“Bobby looks fantastic
and he is in the best shape of his life for this WBO
Title opportunity. He is as strong as a bull and is as
powerful as a tank. His conditioning is superb and his
speed is as quick as a cat! He is both physically and
mentally ready for this challenge on April 7th and Team
Gunn is poised to electrify the boxing world. Bobby has
had a tremendous training camp and he has worked day and
night in preparation for this, the most important fight
of his career. He is fully prepared and absolutely
expects to take Maccarinelli’s WBO Title from him when
they clash in the ring next Saturday night. I have known
Bobby for 16 years and I have never seen the man so
confident and motivated. Enzo Maccarinelli will be
walking into a buzz-saw on April 7th and I don’t think
he can last 3 rounds with Bobby.” “Joe Mack” McEwen,
