HARRIS STOPS HURTADO
(OCT 19) At the Reliant Park, in Houston, Texas
Main Events, Showtime, & Sugar Ray Leonard Boxing, Former IBA Continental Jr. Welterweight Champion Vivian Harris surprised favored Diosbelys Hurtado by stopping the defending IBA World Champion in round two.  Harris landed a quick left hook followed by a right hand that sent Hurtado to the canvas.  With Hurtado on unsteady legs referee Laurence Cole called a halt to the action at :43 of the round.  New Champion Harris now 22-1-1 with 16 Kayos.
